There are three ways to audition for the 2008 Panther Colorguard Marching Season

#1 -- LIVE AUDITION
Saturday, April 5th
10am – 2pm, West Gym
Campus Map

You will be taught a series of warm-ups, basics, tosses, and across the floors.  In addition, you will be taught a 32 -64 count routine.  Prepare a 1-2 minute solo and bring your own CD music.  Boombox and flags will be provided.

All returning veterans must audition on this date.  New members can also audition on this date.  RSVP is required: amy.hunzelman@uni.edu

#2 -- AUDITION TAPE
New members can submit a VHS or DVD of the following requirements
      -Marching basics –demonstrate forward and backward marching
      -Single spins, double spins, and a toss of your choice
      -A 1-2 minute solo routine.
     
Tapes must be submitted by July 25th, 2008. Mail a VHS or DVD to:

#3 -- LIVE AUDITION
New members can audition during their Freshman or Transfer Orientation this summer.  Contact Amy Hunzelman, amy.hunzelman@uni.edu or 319-273-3679 at least seven days before your arrival to schedule a 30 minute audition time. A 32-count routine will be taught.  Come prepared to demonstrate the following:
      -Basics: single and double spins, tosses, figure 8’s
      -Across the floors: marching and spinning at the same time, etc
      -A 1-2 minute solo routine (don’t forget to bring music and your flag!)

All new members will be notified by August 1st of their status and if they have been accepted into the Panther Marching Band.
