Welcome PMB Alumni!
The Panther Marching Band is becoming bigger and stronger and they need our support!
A PMB Alumni organization is being formed and we want you to help us with it!
With the help from the UNI Alumni Association, we are holding an event on Homecoming for all PMB alumni and their families to attend. This is a great time to come back to Cedar Falls to watch the PMB and the UNI football team. The support of Panther athletics is on the rise and we have created this event to get former marching band members involved. On Homecoming, you will get a chance to attend the Panther Festival along 23rd Street, head over to the newly renovated Russell Hall for lunch with a chance to visit with other PMB alumni as well as current PMB director Dr. Galyen, sit in on the band’s pregame practice, and stay to watch the UNI football team as they take on the Southern Illinois Salukis.
Our goal with this new group going forward is to provide support for the Panther Marching Band while connecting the band’s rich past to the student-members of today. If you have any questions regarding the event to come, feel free to contact me at pmbmatt@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you at the second annual PMB Alumni Reunion at the 2009 Homecoming Football Game on Saturday, October 17! Come see old friends, meet the current band staff and students, and enjoy the PMB’s halftime show, Music of the 1990’s!
