Specifications
Casework: |
Solid white oak with lacquer finish. Pipe shades in butternut with gilded bevelled edges to create wave pattern. In the facade are two ranks of principal pipes, the Montre of the Grand Orgue and the Montre of the Pédale. Hidden behind the upper pipe flats is the swell box of the Récit. |
Keydesk: |
Built into the front of the case, with a manual compass of 56 notes (C-g'''). Manual keyboards have naturals of oxbone and ebony sharps, with arcaded nosings of padouk. |
Pedalboard: |
Flat, with a compass of 30 notes (C-f'). Pedalboard has naturals of white oak and sharps capped with rosewood. |
Key action: |
Mechanical. |
Stop action: |
Electrical with multi-level capture combination system with the following features: 128 levels of memory; eight general pistons and four dedicated psitons per division; a sequencer for the general pistons; general cancel. The general pistons, sequencer and couplers are duplicated on toe-studs. |
Console bench: |
Adjustable for height. |
Temperament: |
1/9 syntonic comma; A=440 Hz. This is a modern, unequal temperament attributed to P-Y Asselin (1985). |
Winding system: |
A high-speed blower, installed in a separate room, supplies supple, flexible wind. When desired, the flexible wind can be attenuated by drawing the "Anti-secousses," which turns on concussion bellows attached to each windchest. |
