Get ready for a musical romance...That's Amore! The University of Northern Iowa School of Music Cordially invites you to attend the 34th Annual Scholarship Benefit Concert Friday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.

Get ready for a celebration! The evening will be filled with exceptional performances by student and faculty musicians, as well as a high-energy post-concert amore-themed reception where the music and excitement of the evening continue!

Concert Performers and Reception Details

The concert will feature James Linahon (‘73), exceptional musician and producer from Los Angeles, conducting the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra in a tribute to his touring days with Frank Sinatra. Faculty artists Bill Shepherd, Amanda McCandless, Heather Peyton, Cayla Bellamy, Mitra Sadeghpour, Bob Dunn, Christopher Merz, Alexander Pershounin, Korey Barrett, Sean Botkin, Serena Hou, Polina Khatsko, Dmitri Vorobiev and Jeff Brich. The extent of this support has been most gratifying to the students and faculty at UNI’s School of Music.

To allow us to continue the support we have provided in the past, please consider becoming a special donor. To find out more about donor categories and benefits, please contact us.
