* Active Students receive an additional 30 minute faculty lesson. All fees include dinner, snacks, tickets to the Evening Recital and entrance to Guest Clinician Scott McBride Smith Masterclasses, and lectures. All family members of Active Students may attend free.

  • This workshop will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013
  • The registration deadline for this year is Friday, October 18.
    All Activities take place in Russell Hall and/or the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, UNI.

    The tentative schedule for the UNI Piano and Organ Festival will be:

    10 a.m. - 12 noon Collegiate Master Class with Scott McBride Smith
    12-1 p.m. Lunch on your own
    1-2 p.m. OBSERVATION OPEN for Lessons with UNI faculty: piano in studios, Russell Hall;organ in Jebe Hall, GBPAC
    2-3 p.m. Scott McBride Smith: “Preparing for Competitions: what are the judges Really looking for?
    3-4 p.m. Organ Presentation and Demonstration, Dr. Randall Harlow: Jebe Hall, GBPAC  (Bring a Baroque or Classical piece you’ve played.)
    4-6 p.m. Participants Master Class with Scott McBride Smith
    6-7 p.m. Supper provided
    7 p.m. UNI Keyboard Recital featuring UNI professors and students
