Festivals and Tours at the UNI School of Music offer a window into our workings. Whether you're interested in a master class feel where you can get hands-on experience with your instrument and our amazing faculty, or you'd like to sit back and listen to some of our most talented ensembles and performers, our festivals and tours will offer an opportunity that is right for you.
Festival: Trombone Day at UNI

Davis Hall, GBPAC
Guest artist Christopher Dudley, trombone, will offer a performance at this all-day event. UNI professor of trombone, Christopher Buckholz will direct the event which will feature performances and master classes for trombonists. This event is free and open to the public.

Festival : Northern Festival of Bands
February 8-9, 2008
GBPAC and various other halls
The Northern Festival of Bands, an annual festival of high school bands which typically hosts over 40 schools and over 250 individual participants in a weekend long event, will be held February 8th & 9th, 2008. The event will feature performances by the UNI Wind Symphony and UNI Symphonic Band on Friday evening as well as Saturday afternoon’s performance featuring solo competition winners, the festival’s percussionist groups, Festival Concert Band and Festival Symphony Band.

The Beta Nu Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and the UNI School of Music invite you and your band to the 53rd Annual Tallcorn Jazz Festival and 57th Sinfonian Dimensions in Jazz Concerts to be held on February 15 and 16, 2008, on the campus of UNI.
