Michelle Swanson is an instructor in elementary music education at the University of Northern Iowa. She also teaches elementary general music at the Malcolm Price Laboratory School. Mrs. Swanson was awarded the Gold Star for Outstanding Teaching Award in 1996. She received her B.M.E. and M.M. degrees from the University of Northern Iowa. In addition to her responsibilities at the Malcolm Price Laboratory School and the UNI School of Music, Michelle is the Director of the UNI Children’s Choir.
