UNI COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL PIANO STUDIOS

UNI CMS offers a variety of curriculum for piano instruction ranging from classical/traditional pedagogy to popular and jazz emphasis.

UNI CMS Piano Lessons are offered to a variety of ages.

UNI CMS Piano Lessons are offered primarily as individual private lessons, but there are options for group lessons
("Buddy Lessons" and "Adult Group Beginning and Continuing Lessons")

Little Mozart Piano Program Private Lessons:

Written specifically for the preschool age group, this series provides a balance between the discipline necessary for playing the piano and the enjoyment children receive from the process of music making. The course centers on the adventures of Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse as they learn about music. New students may begin at any time in the year.

Private Lessons for ages 1st Grade through Adults:

Private lessons are offered on an individual basis to beginning-advanced students. Lessons are given year-round and students may start at any time during the year. Music theory basics and the development of technical and musical skills are included in lessons. Fall and Spring recitals as well as preparation for festival participation are included in the lesson fees.

"Buddy Lessons" for 1st Grade – 6th Grade Students

Students enrolled in the "Buddy Lessons" will be matched to another student with similar playing skills who is interested in learning piano duet music as they learn their individual lesson assignments. Each student will have 20 min. of individual instruction as well as 20 minutes of group instruction with "their buddy." The lessons will be scheduled "back to back" to accommodate the group time. (Fee = 30 min. private lesson) Great option for friends to start beginning piano lessons together!
