CHRIEC
The Center for the History of Rural Iowa Education and Culture is located on the third floor of the University of Northern Iowa's Rod Library in the Special Collections and University Archives. Hours of operation are from 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday.

Beginning August 1, 2015, the Rural School Collections housed in the University of Northern Iowa's Center for the History of Rural Iowa Education and Culture will be temporarily unavailable for research due to a shortage of staff at the Center. The Records will again be open and accessible to researchers after Labor Day (September 7, 2015). We appolgize for any inconvenience this may cause.
