Visions of Africa exhibit opens July 21
Our next exhibit highlights spectacular African masks and sculptures recently donated to the UNI Museums by Iowa City collector William Blair, a UNI alumnus. Representing various cultures across Africa, Blair's artifacts will be appreciated for their artistic qualities, as well as their history of use in ceremonies and rituals pertaining to magic, initiations, secret societies, funerals, and ancestor worship. We look forward to showcasing this collection and appreciate Blair's generous gift!
