An Evening with Greg MortensonNew Mortenson books

Please join us for an evening with Greg Mortenson and "Three Cups of Tea." Mortenson will discuss his work in the Middle East and two new books, "Three Cups of Tea - Young Readers Edition" and "Listen to the Wind."

Cedar Valley Pennies for Peace

Pennies for Peace is a program of Greg Mortenson's Central Asia Institute and supports community-based education, especially for girls, in remote regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

University of Northern Iowa

January 12 - February 6

Goal: $5,000, which supports a school for one year

Pennies can be dropped off at the SIAC office on the upper level of Maucker Union between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.

 

Students and campus organizations, community organizations, schools and others wishing to participate in the penny drive should contact Erin Wheat, (319) 273-2683. If you have pictures from your penny drive, please e-mail those to erin.wheat@uni.edu.
