April 3rd, 2013Jonathan Hopkins: Speaker- Repeal of DADT. Jonathan is one of the founders of OutServe, the first LGBT service organization. Jonathan is a former US Army Captain who experienced discrimination when he was discharged under Don't Ask, Don't Tell. During his service, he earned three Bronze Stars, one with valor, and served multiple combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. High Ground: The documentary follows a group of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans as they climb Mt. Lobuche in the Himalayas, attempting to heal their emotional and physical wounds.
