Technology Management Majors
In the technological world of today, the person who is knowledgeable about industry and its technologies has a decided advantage in the job marketplace. The technology management major at University of Northern Iowa provides that advantage by offering a broad program of studies about industry, including its organization, resources, processes and management technologies. Students in this program study the disciplines of mathematics, science, industrial management and production technology.
Coupled with a strong Liberal Arts Core program, students who major in technology management are eligible for a broad spectrum of occupations in our economic sector. The program provides opportunity for students to select additional elective courses in specific technologies or to complete a minor in a related or supporting field.

Graduates of the technology management program typically find employment in business or industry in such career areas as industrial sales and distribution, training, safety and/or insurance, and technically oriented supervision and management.

Several full-tuition industrial technology scholarships are available
to incoming freshmen on a competitive basis through the College of Natural
Sciences Mathematics, Science and Technology Symposium. Other scholarships
are available through endowments and industrial donations to students
majoring in Industrial Technology.
