Business Teaching Majors
Business teachers at the middle school, secondary and postsecondary levels are facing ever-changing technology. The business teaching major in the Department of Management at the University of Northern Iowa strives to prepare its graduates for this constantly changing environment. Students receive preparation in educational concepts that can be applied to international business instruction. Business teaching graduates receive licensure to teach in all areas of general business, accounting and consumer economics. Additional licensure can be obtained in the office field and in the marketing/office/multi-occupation vocational fields.

The College of Business Administration is housed in a 100,000-square-foot, $10.2 million building completed in 1990. Computer laboratories and computer-assisted classrooms provide students with access to state-of-the-art software and technology.
