Book Request Form
REGISTRATION is required EACH semester in order to receive the library's extra delivery services. Click here if you haven't already registered for services for the current semester. Please check UNISTAR to determine that UNI owns the book before requesting it. If UNI does not own the book, please go to your local library and ask that they obtain it through interlibrary loan. Rod Library does not interlibrary loan books for UNI Distance Learners. Students can use the library's on-campus interlibrary loan service for books not owned by Rod Library but then students have to come to the library to pick up and to return the books. To submit an interlibrary loan request through the library's on-campus services you can complete an On-Campus Interlibrary Loan Request form. Dissertations and theses (other than from UNI) have to be obtained either from your local library or from Rod Library's on-campus interlibrary loan service because these items have to be returned to the lending institution.
Library books will be sent to Distance Learners through the mail. Rod Library pays for the mailing books to Distance Learners. Distance Learners are then responsible for returning books to Rod Library either by mail or by dropping them off at the library.
Please note Overview of Services. For article or chapter requests complete the online Article or Chapter Request form.
To send the form, click on the "Send this request" button at the bottom of the page. The more information you provide, the quicker we will be able to fulfill your request.
