Students of Spanish (whether majors or minors) at UNI are exposed to a wide variety of coursework. UNI faculty teach courses on language, linguistics, translation, culture, and foreign language teaching methods as well as Chicano and Latino, Spanish-American and Spanish literature and film. UNI also offers unique opportunities for Spanish Heritage Speakers.
All students considering taking Spanish at UNI should take the Spanish placement exam. This exam will help you choose the appropriate first Spanish course at UNI. Please use the password: panthers1.
