DLL FACULTY AND STUDENTS RECEIVE HONORS

The DLL is proud to celebrate in the accomplishments of our faculty and students who have recently received awards. Associate Professor Jim O'Loughlin received a Veridian Award for Community Engagement in recognition of his work with the Final Thursday Reading Series, now in its second decade, and Professor Vince Gotera will receive the 2012-13 Regents Award for Faculty Excellence.

Graduate students Tracey Toenjes, Jason Bradford, and Maryna Lysun have also received awards: Tracey received first prize at the Sixth Annual Graduate Research Symposium in the Humanities sponsored by the College of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences; Jason received first prize in the Creative Arts category at the Fifth Annual Graduate Symposium sponsored by UNI's Graduate College; and Maryna received second prize from the Graduate College in its annual Outstanding M.A. Research Paper competition. Congratulations to our excellent faculty and students!
