FAQ - Wireless Signup

All Students and Faculty/Staff MUST bring their personal laptop to the Computer Consulting Center (ITTC room 36) regardless of computer platform to have their laptop registered for wireless connectivity here at UNI. This process takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes normally. You can speed up the process, by having the current operating system and antivirus updates installed before you visit. Students need to have the free UNI antivirus software, see http://www.uni.edu/antivirus.

Faculty and staff members wanting their university laptop added should contact their specific technical staff as the colleges and departments have varying setup requirements.
 

If you need additional assistance please contact the Computer Consulting Center (CCC) at (319) 273-5555. The CCC is located in Room 36 ITTC Building (East Gym). Consultants are available to provide hands-on assistance daily Monday through Friday during University Business Hours.
