FAQ - Popup Blockers, UNI Sites To Allow

Popup Blockers (like Mozilla and Google Toolbar) have become popular but certain UNI sites must be permitted to operate correctly, many for MEMFIS applications.

Mozilla popup should be modified to allow all "uni.edu" domains.

Google Toolbar and similar blockers must be set to allow popups for these individual sites:
  • http://memfis.uni.edu:4400 (MEMFIS)
  • http://access.uni.edu (ACCESS UNI)
  • http://fusion.admin.uni.edu (webfocus reports for MEMFIS drilldowns)
  • https://elearning3.uni.edu (this is the WebCT server that should allow popups)
If you find other UNI sites where popups need to be allow, please advise the CCC (see below) so our documentation can be updated.
 

If you need additional assistance please contact the Computer Consulting Center (CCC) at (319) 273-5555. The CCC is located in Room 36 ITTC Building (East Gym). Consultants are available to provide hands-on assistance daily Monday through Friday during University Business Hours.
