Many people install AOL (free CDs) and as AOL installs their own dialup services and deletes all others if the need to go back to their original service provider (possibly UNI) they run into problems until AOL dialup services are deleted.

In order do dialup to a service other than AOL you must remove AOL software then install normal dialup service.

To remove America Online 6.0:

1. Button to START>Settings>Control Panel>Networks

2. Select each of the following components individually and click the REMOVE button to remove the AOL network adaptors:

d. TCP/IP Display Adaptor

3. Restart your computer.

4. Button to START>Settings>Control Panel>Add/Remove programs.

5. Select America Online and Button on remove.

6. Restart your computer.
