Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Statements
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has recently changed strategy regarding copyright
infringement and is now sending out of court settlement letters to be distributed to alleged copyright
violators. Over one-quarter of the students nationwide receiving these letters, have reportedly settled
out of court for between $3,000-$5,000.
