Moving Mail Folders in Desktop Clients




To avoid overflowing your email quota with archival data or large attachments, you may want to consider storing some of your messages in local folders (those residing on your personal computer).

This is a good place for messages that you need to keep, but don't need on a daily basis, and don't need to access while you're away from your desk. If a message does need to be retrieved from a local folder while you're using another computer, you can still get access by using Remote Desktop tools.

Moving messages between folders is a fairly simple task. Detailed step-by-step instructions for this task can be found at the following links:
