Windows Workstation Backup Procedure


If it is possible that your computer has not been used and has been turned off since this time then there is no concern. However, if this is not the situation then most likely this is because you have had to change your Active Directory (Windows) password and you subsequently need to make the changes below.

 

Whenever your Active Directory password changes you must manually (sorry no way to automate) both of your backup jobs (Daily and Weekly) to have that same new password too.

 

Please correct them by:

 

1) Start/All Programs/Accessories/Systems Tools/Scheduled Tasks, then

 

2) Right-Mouse-Click on the Daily Backup and select Properties then click Set Password

 

3) Repeat for the Weekly Backup

 

4) We recommend you immediately initiate a Daily Backup by Right-Mouse-Clicking on the Daily Backup and select Run
