The security office publishes best practices to assist the UNI community to use computers more securely. As time permits, more best practice documents will be published here.  Please send any questions, requests for clarification, or suggestions on new best practice documents to the security office.

Best Practices:

The best practices here are intended to complement existing UNI policy.    UNI policy and departmental policies/guidelines/procedures may be more or less restrictive.  Always check with your supervisor and/or computer support personal for exact procedures for computers you use.
