Mailing Lists Based Upon Student Major

MAILSERV-based mailing lists for students with majors in your department are available upon request. Use of these lists will be restricted to only those designated by the Department Head. Since I have to enter authorized addresses by hand, my decided preference is that the list be kept short. Translation: Please do not request "all departmental faculty", or something similar.

The available lists are based upon the 3-character codes assigned by the Registrar's office. Please use those codes when requesting lists.

Some of these lists already exist from last semester. They will be updated and I will be informing the current "owners" of that and of the fact that department heads have been made aware of their existence.

Here's a short list of the details for these lists:

• The list names will be of the form XXX-MAJORS.
• Only authorized senders may use the lists.
• All SUB and UNSUB requests will be referred to the list owner.
• Only the authorized senders may request current membership lists.
