Personal
- Past Positions: For the past twenty eight years I have worked at the University of Northern Iowa in the central computing organization, beginning as a Systems Analyst, moving to leadership positions in systems development and systems planning, and then to Manager of Information Systems. I have experience in almost every area of the organization. I am now in a Director role.
Prior to my coming to UNI, I worked as a Computer Programmer and Systems Analyst Systems Analyst at Lutheran Mutual Life Insurance Company, now called CUNA Mutual Life, in Waverly Iowa.
- Family: I am married and have three children and one grandchild. My wife Jane, works at Wartburg College where she is Office Coordinator for the Alumni Relations Office. My oldest son David and his family live in Baldwin, Wisconsin where he works as Security Consultant for IBM Corporation. Second son Ryan died May 8th, 1999 in an automobile accident. He was a junior in high school at the time of his death. My youngest, Tara is currently working toward a degree in elementary education at UNI.
- Outside of Work: I enjoy fishing, hunting, camping and many outdoor activities. I am a volunteer for Ducks Unlimited and currently serve as treasurer for the Sweet Marsh Chapter.
