ITS - Data Access and Repository Services Team
Purpose:The Data Access team creates and maintains self-service web applications for university students, faculty and staff; prospective students and parents; and the public. MyUNIverse, the university portal, is the central website for self-service applications such as viewing grades, e-bill, and other personal student records, as well as many web transactions for administrative systems. The Data Access team also provides support for the central authentication system on campus.
The main development platform has been Perl running on an Apache webserver under Unix, but recently the team has begun developing Java/J2EE applications.
