Computer Workshops for Credit—
Free for full time* students.
Pre-registration is required to reserve a seat in these courses. Pre-registration is done online on a first come-first served basis starting one week before the semester begins.
Credit is offered through the Dept. of Continuing Education and Special Programs** in cooperation with the Dept. of Curriculum and Instruction.
The Continuing Education and Special Programs course enrollment form will be completed at the first class meeting.

Creating Web Pages – 240:133 – one hour credit

Description: This course will describe
and provide hands-on practice with various aspects of creating web
pages, including HTML, Composer, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and preparing images and
other materials for use on the web.
Credit: Undergraduate credit will be awarded
through Continuing Education on a pass-fail basis only. There is no
charge for full-time* students;
others must pay additional tuition. Maximum enrollment
for each section is 15 students. This class may not be added after the first meeting of the section.

Mastering Microsoft Office – 240:133 – one hour credit

Description: This course will strengthen your knowledge of
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and introduce OneNote as parts of the Microsoft Office 2007 Suite. Each two-hour class will introduce
various features of the program and provide practice with the features.

Education on a pass-fail basis only. There is no charge for full-time* students; others must pay additional
tuition. Maximum enrollment for each section is 15

*Full time students are those taking 12 or more credit hours
in addition to these workshops. Others will be charged tuition
of $240.00 + $25.00
Technology fee, for a total of $265.00
(as of May 10, 2009; subject to change).
**These workshops may not show up on your registration schedule until the end of the semester. If you need it to show up sooner, you must contact the Dept. of Continuing Education and Special Programs at 273-2121 and make that request after you have pre-registered.
