Marilyn Drury

Marilyn is the Director of ITS-Educational Technology at UNI. She has an MA in Business Education from Truman State University and a BA in Business Education from UNI. Over the past 25 years she has taught a variety of business, personal computing, and adult education courses at Upper Iowa University, community colleges, and technical institutes throughout the State. She worked as an Administrative Computing Consultant with Southern Prairie Area Education Agency for five years. She has served in a variety of leadership roles including Director of the Personal Computing Support Center and the Customer/User Services in the Information Technology Services department at the University of Iowa for fourteen years. Marilyn is completing her Doctorate of Education at UNI. The area of her research is women chief information officers in higher education. Marilyn serves on several leadership committees at UNI and has served on national advisory councils for Apple Computer, IBM and Gateway, Inc. She has led many State of Iowa initiatives related to the uses of technology in teaching and learning.
