Cable Television

Educational Technology programs a number of educational access channels for the city of Cedar Falls, IA.  If you live in Cedar Falls and your cable provider is Cedar Falls Utilities, this programming may be found on channels 24 and 99.  If you live in Cedar Falls and your cable provider is Mediacom, this programming may be found on channels 16 and 18. 

Channels 99 and 18 have identical programming. These channels broadcast a variety of UNI related programs as well as an electronic bulletin board which lists upcoming UNI events. 

Please note that channels 99 and 18 are shared with Hawkeye Community College (HCC).  HCC programs these channels from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. and UNI programs them from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Channels 24 and 16 also have identical programming. They are programmed with content from SCOLA .  SCOLA is a non-profit educational organization that receives and re-transmits television programming from around the world in native languages.
