Sample Permission Forms - MidLink Magazine - Do teachers and their
students have the right to use whatever images, sound clips, etc. in
their school projects that they wish? The answer is no. Some web sites
do grant permission for schools to use graphics in educational projects,
but some do not, especially when projects leave the classroom for public
viewing in web pages or public performances. If a source (web site,
CD-ROM, etc.) does not explicitly state that you have this permission,
then you should assume that you don't. So it's best to request
permission in writing and to keep it on file. This site from MidLink
Magazine provides sample permission letters for students & teachers to
use as templates.
