Special Technology Workshops
ITS-Educational Technology can provide technology
instruction that is customized for your group of ten or more UNI students,
staff, or faculty. We can deliver one of our standard workshops or customize
a workshop to fit your specific needs (as long as it is a program for which
we currently provide instruction).
Requests must be received by the tenth of the
month prior to when you want the workshop. We need the information before
we develop our workshop and staffing
schedule for the next month.
If your group has fewer than ten people, we
will try to accommodate your group in our regular workshop schedule. For
example, if your group of five
wants a workshop on PowerPoint on a Tuesday at 1:00, we will put that
workshop on our regular schedule and your group will have first priority
in
signing
up.
We may also be able to custom-design a workshop
for your group. Charges would include $50 per hour development time, and,
for non-UNI affiliates,
$50 per hour for an instructor and $400 per day for use of a computer
classroom. If software must be installed, an additional $150 setup fee
applies.
If
no instructor is needed, an ET staff person is required to be present
at a cost of $10 per hour.
