Dr. Marilyn Drury is the Director of ITS Educational Technology at UNI. She has degrees in Business Education and Postsecondary Educational Leadership. Over the past 30 years she has taught a variety of business, personal computing, and adult education courses at Upper Iowa University, community colleges, and technical institutes throughout the State. She worked as an Administrative Computing Consultant with Southern Prairie Area Education Agency for five years. She has served in a variety of leadership roles including Director of the Personal Computing Support Center and Director of Customer/User Services in ITS at the University of Iowa for fourteen years. Marilyn completed her Doctorate of Education in 2008 with her area of research focused on women chief information officers in higher education. Marilyn serves on several leadership committees at UNI and has served on national advisory councils for Apple Computer, IBM, and Gateway, Inc. She has led many State of Iowa initiatives related to the uses of technology in teaching and learning.
