Your username is a unique 3-8 character account name that identifies you as a member of the UNI community. Your username is a permanent and visible part of your UNI identity: For students, it appears in your UNI email address username@uni.edu (Look up my username in the UNI Directory) it appears in your UNI web page URL www.uni.edu/username it's your unique identifier and/or login ID in many of UNI's online systems Your username in conjunction with your password allow you access to various online resources and computers on campus. What is my CatID password? Your UNI username will be with you throughout your affiliation with UNI. If you graduate from UNI, then return later as an employee, you'll retain the same username. See ITS Recommended Password Standards for further information about passwords. If you need help determining your username, contact the Computer Consulting Center (CCC) at (319) 273-5555. The CCC is located in Room 36 ITTC Building (East Gym). Consultants are available to provide hands-on assistance daily Monday through Friday during University Business Hours.
