| Business Partnerships |
The eleven institutions who are participating in this project each
have identified business partners they want to involve in meaningful
ways to support learning opportunities for teacher candidates and P-12
students. Also, the Renaissance Group Institutions have been
working with the Kentucky Partnership for Schools and the National
Alliance of Business to create productive strategies for two-way
meaningful interaction between businesses, teacher preparation
institutions, and partner schools. The eleven universities in the
project are at different levels of developing business partnerships
and are planning to report on their progress in the fall of 2001.
