Track 26: Preparation for Accreditation Site Visit
Preparation for an accreditation site visit and the subsequent visit can position a school district to improve student achievement. Knowing what will happen during the visit will ensure that the district is fully prepared and the site visit has long term benefits. Expand your understanding of essential preparatory steps: How do you get ready? Who do you involve? How do you engage school and community groups? What materials, documents and resources are needed? Once the visit is complete, discover how to infuse the site visit recommendations into your district's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) and support district leaders, stakeholders and staff to pull together to improve student achievement. Participants will also explore ways to report findings of the accreditation visit to the community.
