Track 1

  1. Laptop Computer (if possible obtain ID and password to log into DE website)
  2. Calculator (10 digits preferred but not required)
  3. District Audit Report (latest)
  4. CAR FY 2010-11 (including the special education supplement, if possible) – if not able
    to obtain hardcopy, please be sure that you can login to the DE edinfo secure website
  5. District Adopted & Certified Budget FY2011-12
  6. Aid and Levy printout and Tax Report FY2011-12 (from Department of Management
    sent to districts May/June 2011) – if not able to obtain a hardcopy of the original
    printout, please download the report from the Iowa Department of Management
  7. Most recent Unspent Authorized Budget Report (from Iowa Department of Management
    website – bring a hardcopy and download report to your computer prior to the
    conference)
  8. DE Unspent Authorized Budget Projection Worksheet (download this worksheet to your
    computer from the DE website by clicking on the “A to Z index”, then clicking on
    “Unspent Balance Projections”, then click and download the "Unspent Authorized
    Budget Projection Worksheet."

  2. Copy of 2011-2012 Certification of Taxes from the DOM **Mailed with
    DOM’s final Aid & Levy printout
  3. AID & LEVY, Tax and Program Summary FY12 **Mailed with
    Aid & Levy printout in June or are found at “Outstanding
    Property Tax Levies and Maximum Levy Limits” on DOM website
    at: http://www.dom.state.ia.us/local/schools/files/FY12/
    AidLevyTaxAndProgramSummaryFY2012.xls
  4. Assessed valuations 2011 for the 2012-2013 school year. These come
    from county auditor or are found on the DOM website at: http://
    www.dom.state.ia.us/local/valuations/index/html
  5. At-Risk Dropout (MAG), Special Education Deficit letter, Increase
    Enrollment or OE Out Increase (MAG) approvals for 2012-13
  6. Previous year’s budget forms from FY12 which were certified last April
  7. Most recent UNSPENT BUDGET AUTHORITY REPORT from the DOM
    **Should have heading that reads “2012 Est.” on last column and can be
    accessed at: http://www.dom.state.ia.us/local/schools/index.html
  8. Debt Schedules (Bonds and Interest) and Loan Agreement Schedules
    **Bring district ID and Password in case you need to access reports
  9. FY11 CAR Cross-walk Report
