Mike Wells is currently serving his first year as superintendent in the Winterset Community School District.  Before accepting this position, he was superintendent for 6 years at Corning, where he also served as a principal.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska Kearney.  He received his Master’s at Doane College.  He received his Specialist degree from the University of Northern Iowa, and will graduate from UNI with his Ed.D in May, 2010.  Mike is married with 3 children.
