Joe Kramer has served as the Pocahontas Area Community School District's superintendent since July of 2005. Prior to his current position, he was high school principal at BCLUW for 7 year and 9 years as a science teacher with Wichita Public Schools in Kansas. He received his B.A. from UNI in 1988, his M.E. from Wichita State University in 1998 and his C.A.S. from Iowa State University in 2004. Pocahontas Area received the first round of preschool grants that permitted them to triple the number of students receiving a quality preschool experience.
