Bob Jester
Bob is President of Jester Insurance Services,
Inc., in Des Moines. He has 38 years of experience in a wide variety of
Commercial Property and Casualty insurance. The agency has extensive involvement
in nearly every type and size of governmental entity. Bob currently serves
as Managing Agent for large safety group programs sponsored by the Iowa
Association of School Boards and the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities.
He is an alum of Iowa State University and past president of the Independent
Insurance Agents of Iowa. Bob has had numerous positions in a wide variety
of community affairs including board member and past president of the
Des Moines Metropolitan Transit Authority as well as service on the board
of directors and past president of Friends of Iowa Public Television.
His service on nonprofit and charitable organizations has included the Iowa Public Television Foundation, Day Care Service, Inc., Conservation Foundation for Polk County, and Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation Advisor.
