The Iowa Association of School Boards (IASB) and its Cash Management Programs, School Cash Anticipation Program (ISCAP) and the Iowa Schools Joint Investment Trust (ISJIT) in partnership with the Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL) at the University of Northern Iowa, has formed the Iowa Superintendents Finance and Leadership Consortium (ISFLC), a professional development program for Iowa superintendents to expand their knowledge base and develop fiscal management and leadership skills. The Consortium is offering 1 3/4 day sessions to meet the varied fiscal management and leadership needs of Iowa superintendents.

Who Participates in ISFLC?

ISFLC programs are available to all practicing Iowa superintendents, aspiring superintendents, and business managers/board secretaries invited by their superindentents.Iowa Superintendents, aspiring superintendents, and board secretaries/business managers are invited to ISFLC conferences December 17-18, 2008 and Febrary 11-12, 2009. The December ISFLC Conference will be held at the Embassy Suites on the River in Des Moines. The February ISFLC Conference will be held at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Cedar Rapids. New Superintendents and superintendents new to the state of Iowa

ISFLC welcomes new superintendents and superintendents new to the state of Iowa to a one-day conference on September 24, 2008. This conference will be held at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Northwest in Des Moines. Click here for more details on hotel room rates. We look forward to meeting you then.
