National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. It’s about demonstrating to the nation that by working together, we have the fortitude to meet our challenges and accomplish our goals. There will be numerous events going on during this week.


2015 National Volunteer Week Events:


Saturday, April 11th: UNI Hardwoods Tree Planting @ Parking Lot by Hillsde-Jennings Apartments  8am

Monday, April 13th: Adopt a Grandparent @ St. Stephens & SLC Service Projects 3:-4:15pm

Monday, April 13th: SLC Service Projects @ Mauker Union Ballroom 6-8pm

Tuesday, April 14th: SLC Volunteer Tuesday @ the Arboretum (meet at the CME, transportation provided) 3:30-5:30pm OR 5:30-7:30pm

Wednesday, April 15th: SLC Stop & Serve @ the Union next to Chats 11-2

Thursday, April 16th: SLC Help A Child @ Boys and Girls Club (meet at the CME, transportation provided) 4-6pm
