As the Olympics day leader I planned a couple activities I thought the FSL community would be interested in participating in. After I chose the events I coordinated with the faculty of the WRS (or WRC) to help plan these events. The WRC was a great resource and the faculty was very easy to work with, allowing us to use all of their equipment for free and providing all the materials we needed for our events. The day of the event, with the help of other Greek Week Executives, we put on a successful Olympics and Canoe Battleship tournament. This position was a lot fun to be in charge and work wasn't too overbearing.
The role of the Greek Week Public Relations Chair is to keep the FSL Community actively updated on Greek Week events, reminders, scores, and the overall success of UNI Greek Week. The PR chair has the responsibility to run all UNI Greek Week social media accounts, such as Facebook and Twitter. design campus advertisements (posters, etc.,) distribute posters with the week's schedule to all Greek houses, as well as design, order, and distribute all Greek Week shirts. If you are an innovative individual, who loves to keep people informed about the best week at UNI, than Greek Week Public Relations Chair is a great position for you!!
