Master of Environmental Science

Environmental Studies

Housed within Environmental Programs in the College of Natural Science is the Master of Science in Environmental Science, Technology and Health. These degrees are designed for students with a discipline-based bachelor's degree in one of the natural sciences, technology, or engineering. The interdisciplinary program prepares students for positions with environmental consulting firms, government agencies, and environmental departments within large companies specializing in environmental technologies. This is a thesis only MS degree. A limited number of graduate research assistantships are granted to students accepted in the program.

Admission Requirements
  • International Application for Admission
  • Official Transcripts sent directly from your current and/or all prior academic institutions that you have attended to the Office of Admissions
  • Minimum undergraduate grade point average of a 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale
  • Official report of TOEFL score (550/213/79)/ IELTS (6.5) or above
  • Official report of the GRE General Exam score (if undergraduate major was not in the sciences)
  • Department application
  • 3 letters of recommendation
  • Statement of Purpose
