Speech Language Pathology
The graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology at the University
of Northern Iowa, an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
(ASHA) Council of Academic Accreditation (CAA) accredited program,
provides for advanced educational training in assessment and
treatment of speech, language, and hearing disorders. It has
been recognized by the UNI Graduate College as one of three
premiere departments. Course work and experiential learning
experiences meet or exceed the current requirements for the
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
(CCC-SLP) as defined by ASHA. Applicants for the graduate program
must have completed an undergraduate major in communicative

| Graduate Assistantship Requirements |
- Completed
graduate assistantship and/or tuition scholarship application
forms should be sent to the department with all other
application documents. Deadlines to the department for
