This major is available on the thesis and non-thesis options. A minimum of 31-35
semester hours, depending on emphasis chosen, is required for the thesis option.
A minimum of 30 semester hours is required for the non-thesis option. Additional hours
may be required, if, upon entering the graduate program, the student needs background courses.
