Accounting
This program is designed to enhance the student’s communication skills,
critical-thinking ability, problem-solving capability, and other critical
skills and knowledge required to be a successful accountant in public
accounting, business, and government. Completion of this program will
satisfy Iowa’s 150-hour requirements for licensing as a CPA. It is designed
for an individual with an undergraduate degree in accounting. UNI consistently
ranks in the top 10 universities in the nation for pass rate on the
CPA exam. International students should typically plan on two years
of study for this program.

Program:
This
program is set up for those students that do not have an undergraduate
degree in accounting. Students with this classification take undergraduate
accounting and other business courses needed to satisfy program and
course prerequisites.
