Why did you choose UNI?

I chose UNI because of its strong reputation in undergraduate and graduate programs. UNI has a small student-faculty ratio in its graduate programs, which fits with my long standing desire to go into a personalized graduate environment in which my educational and professional goals are considered first. Since UNI is an institution where students and faculty share academic goals and join in a common intellectual quest, I felt it was the right fit for me. Another reason for choosing UNI was its diversity. In other words, UNI is a global community with students from different backgrounds and cultural traditions.

How does UNI positively support international students?

UNI has supportive faculty and staff. They try as much as possible to assist international students settle down in a home very far from their homes. Faculty and staff integrate international students into the community where they share home stories, food, cultural values and learn from each other.
