Why did you choose UNI?

When I came to UNI, I fell in love at first sight with the beauty of campus, its facilities and the people, who were extremely nice and friendly. I instantly knew this would be the right place for me to further my education.

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?

I have two favorite places on campus: the WRC and the Gallagher- Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. I am very much into sports and I go to the WRC pretty much every day. The facilities are second-tonone and I love to jog on the running track and enjoy the view of campus. The shows put up at the GBPAC are of unbelievable quality, with lots of international and famous artists who come to play, sing or act. I always get very excited about the shows, and I attend most of them.

How does UNI support international students?

The International Student Office offers very good support for UNI’s international students. They not only organize very important activities, such as dinners and trips, but they offer continuous support and advising for anything international students might need. The orientation week for international students, which happens at the beginning of the semester, is also a very important and valuable service provided by the office. It helps you to get the first touch with the American culture and it is also a good place to get to know how the university functions and to make new good friends.

What is the one thing you would tell an international student about attending a college in the United States?

That it will profoundly change her/his life, making s/he into a better person. I can already notice that this experience has changed my point of view and my way to interact with the world and people. I am pretty sure I will always remember what I have learned at UNI.
