Master of Arts

Graduate students may elect to earn either the K-6 or the 7-12 endorsement in school teacher librarian studies depending on their level of teaching certification. Graduate students who complete the master's degree receive a endorsement, regardless of the level of their original teaching certification. The Department is characterized by its emphasis on technology, curriculum integration, reflective practice, multicultural focus, and constructivist philosophy. The faculty is committed to the teacher-scholar model and preparation of teachers that embodies a vision of excellence.

    • Minimum undergraduate grade point average of a 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale.
